Nasa cut its ISS live stream minutes after it spotted ‘UFO’, claim theorists

#UFO #ISS – Nasa cut its ISS live stream minutes after it spotted ‘UFO’, claim theorists : A UFO or unidentified flying object has always piqued interest and curiosity. Any news related to this mysterious object is often exaggerated and fed to people likewise.

It’s not the first time when there have been alleged UFO sightings. According to a report by Express, UFO conspiracy theorists allege that Nasa shut down a live stream from the International Space Station (ISS) just minutes after a UFO was spotted.

A video (see below) uploaded by a space observer Streetcap1 on YouTube is an edited footage from the live ISS HD Earth viewing Experiment. It shows a strange blue light in the distance. A small shining dot caught his attention and he thought that this blue light is evidence of extraterrestrial life.

The video has a caption which reads, “Unidentified Object is brighter on the left side due to the light from the Sun, so not Lens Flare. NASA cut the camera feed so quickly even though this was very distant, but I still managed to get a couple of frames to enlarge. Streetcap1.”

According to Seeker, Streetcap1 is a well-known ufologist who studies space videos and photos to find strange artefacts which cannot be easily explained.

Some sceptics argue that the light is merely lens flare and Seeker suggests that the ISS passed out of range of the Tracking and Data Relay Satellites (TDRS) that are used to relay the HD video to Earth. Such images have previously been spotted and argued upon.

In most cases, it has turned out to be a piece of debris, known as “space junk” or lens flares, which occur when light refracts inside the lens and then appears on the image or at times, reflections of the ISS itself. Source: firstpost
