The phone alone costs $799 in the United States.

“Microsoft seems to love the superphone”

Redmond has also published a hands-on video to introduce the HP Elite X3 to the world, and you can watch it below, while also providing a closer look at some of the essential features.

“A few personal favorite features of the HP Elite x3 include the brilliant screen. It’s super crisp and sharp, perfect for working through email and watching videos. Audio is awesome, thanks to the premium audio built-in with B&O Play and the 16 MP rear-facing camera for capturing photos when I’m out and about,” the company says in a blog post.

Truth be told, the phone comes with hardware that no other Windows phone has and which makes it the flagship of flagships in the Windows 10 Mobile world. The device features a 5.96-inch AMOLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15 GHz (4 cores).

It features 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of onboard storage plus microSD card support, a 16-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary unit for selfies and video calls, a 4150 mAh battery and USB Type-C connector for data transfers and charging.

It also offers support for Windows Hello thanks to an iris recognition camera, but the phone also comes with a fingerprint reader for faster authentication. Continuum support is also offered, and so is access to a bunch of other HP services that could come in super handy in the enterprise. Source: softpedia
