The device supports 4K and HDR and offers more hard drive space than its predecessor. Xbox One S bundles are now available for pre-order which includes games like Gears of War 4.

The Xbox One S is said to be 40 percent smaller than its predecessor with a smaller footprint and eliminated the external power brick. Additionally, the console boasts a more powerful processor than the original Xbox One that paved the way to the addition of several new features.

Xbox One S can perform streaming 4K videos from Netflix and YouTube and upscaling 1080p games to 4K. The device is also compatible with Ultra HD Blu-ray discs and HDR. Note: The changes may not be fully achieved without a 4K TV or one that supports HDR.

Xbox One S Vs. Xbox One Original

The original Xbox One has a 500GB hard drive that can easily be filled with games nowadays taking up at least 40GB. Plus, prior to playing disc-based games, the original gaming console also has to install the games on the hard drive.

Xbox One S Memory

On the other hand, the Xbox One S boasts 2TB of hard drive space that costs $400. Alternatively, Microsoft is also launching 500GB version of the Xbox One S for $300 which is a tad pricier than the standard 500GB Xbox One that currently costs $250. A 1TB version of the Xbox One S is also available for $350.

Xbox One S Game Bundles

In other news, the Xbox One S is now bundled with Gears of War 4. The package includes a wireless controller along with a digital download of the game. The device can be pre-ordered from Microsoft Store for $449 with a special edition “Crimson Omen” controller.

The Xbox One S comes in white and blue. In addition, Daily Star also announced a new One S bundle in stor gray with a free copy of FIFA 17 for $299.99. Additionally, all pre-orders will include Brothers to the End gear pack with golden versions of the Wave Lancer and Gnasher weapons.
