Development Of The Galaxy S8 Firmware Has Reportedly Begun

#GalaxyS8 #Firmware – Development Of The Galaxy S8 Firmware Has Reportedly Begun : Without a doubt Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy S8 in 2017. Now it might seem a bit early, but given the snafu with the Galaxy Note 7, we heard the rumors that Samsung could be getting ready for an earlier-than-expected launch of the Galaxy S8 and a report from SamMobile seems to have confirmed that.

According to their sources, the publication has learnt that Samsung has already begun work on the firmware for the upcoming phone. The ROM is said to be developed for use in China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US. It is expected that once the build is stable enough that it will eventually be adapted for other regions.

Now since we don’t know what Samsung’s development schedules are like, it’s hard to say if this is just business as usual, or if development has begun early. SamMobile seems to suggest that this is more of the former as this was the same time the Galaxy S7’s firmware was developed last year, but we guess we’ll have to wait and see if this turns out to be the same deal.

So far rumors of the Galaxy S8 have slowly begun to surface. We have heard that it will come in at least two variants and will also feature Viv AI as its new voice assistant platform that will replace S Voice.

We have also heard that it will be losing the home button and possibly even the headphone jack, but until we get the official confirmation, take it with a grain of salt. Source: ubergizmo
