#GooglePixel #OnePlus3Google Pixel vs OnePlus 3: Which is the best Android phone to buy in 2016? : When it comes to the most exciting Android phones of 2016, the likes of Samsung, LG and HTC have been left well behind. The battle comes down to Google, the brains behind Android itself and OnePlus, the tiny Chinese brand that has won itself a legion of fans.

Google’s Pixel phone is days away from launching in the UK and it threatens to blow all the competition out of the water in terms of specs and features. But there’s no getting around the fact that Google’s creation costs a tonne. As much as Apple’s iPhone 7, in fact.

The OnePlus 3 , by contrast, offers similar levels of performance for a fraction of the price. Which is why we’ve lined up the two phones side-by-side to see which one is more worthy of your money.

Price

It’s a clear winner for the OnePlus in this category. The 2016 OnePlus 3 model is almost half the price of the premium Pixel phones. The Pixel phones cost £599 for the 32GB model and £699 for the 128GB version. That’s if you’re going for the 5-inch model. The 5.5-inch Pixel XL is £719 for the 32GB model and £819 for the 128GB one.

The OnePlus 3 only comes with a 5.5-inch display and costs £329. That price has gone up thanks to Brexit , but it still makes it a lot more affordable than Google’s gadget.
