#Alien #EarthAliens ‘making CONTACT with Earth’ as bizarre signals ‘detected’ in shock discovery  : Researchers Ermanno F. Borra and Eric Trottier have lifted the lid on the bizarre signals from distant stars being sent to Earth using a mathematical tool.

The duo claim our planet has received 234 alien signals – from 2.5 million readings detected by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, an eight-foot diameter telescope in Sunspot, New Mexico.

It is believed if lifeforms from outer space flashed lasers, bursts of radiation would be spotted in the light coming from the host stars. The pair, from Laval University in Quebec, have said the most likely explanation is aliens – after ruling out other alternatives.

EXPOSED: The duo have ruled out other natural explanations (GETTY)

They wrote in a report published on the preprint site arXiv: “The signals cannot be caused by instrumental or data analysis effects because they are present in only a very small fraction of stars within a narrow spectral range.

“Because signal to noise ration considerations predict that the signal should mostly be detected in the brightest objects, while this is not the case. “We consider several possibilities, such as rotational transitions in molecules, rapid pulsations and signals generated by Extraterrestrial Intelligence (ETI).

“We find that the detected signals have exactly the same shape of an ETI signal predicted in the previous publications and are therefore in agreement with this hypothesis.

REVEALED: The pair examined 2.5 million readings detected by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (PH)
