#iOS10.0.3 #iPhone7 – Apple Finally Fixes iPhone 7 LTE Problems with iOS 10.0.3 Update : Last month, there have been numerous reports from consumers regarding some iPhone 7 LTE problems with connectivity. According to the reports, many iPhone 7 units experience loss of connection with LTE. Most of the time, connections are kept on the slower 3G band.
Prior to this, T-Mobile users also report the same cases on their new iPhone 7 units. In response to the problem, T-Mobile released an announcement telling its subscribers to hold off the update to iOS 10.
When the iOS 10 was released last month, T-Mobile subscribers were the first ones to report some problems. The company’s CEO, John Legere, even posted an announcement on Twitter warning his subscribers not to download the new iOS. Apple did release an update immediately after this, but it seems that the problem is still prevalent.
A few days after the software update, users are still complaining about LTE connectivity issues. One major complaint was that they cannot use Voice over LTE calls or are sometimes getting disconnected without apparent reason.
As an interim solution, some users turn the Airplane mode on and off until they get connected to LTE. Of course, this has caused a lot of frustrations to users of the new iPhone 7. Having to constantly fiddle with their phone settings is basically not the reason why they bought the phone in the first place.
The new update is focused on the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models only. To date, it is still uncertain if the updates will be applied to older iPhones and iPads.
To get the update, users will need to navigate to their phone’s Settings menu. From there, tap on the General button, then Software Update. Alternatively, they can connect their phone to a computer with an updated iTunes app. Once the new iOS version has been downloaded to the host computer, update is very much straight forward.
