#Microsoft #SurfacePhoneMicrosoft Surface Phone latest update: Previously leaked images of rumored Surface phone were for a different handset : It is undeniable that a lot of users are hoping for Microsoft to release, or even just announce the plans for the much-awaited Microsoft Surface Phone.

Early in the month, known leakster Evan Blass uploaded a series of photos which people initially assumed was the Microsoft Surface Phone. As exciting as the news sounded, it was also immediately clarified that the leaked images were not for the Microsoft Surface Phone.

Blass himself pointed out that he did not announce that it was the Microsoft Surface Phone, although it turned out to be a Windows phablet from Dell.

Since Blass has already clarified that the images he leaked are not of the Microsoft Surface Phone, fans are again in the dark about the device and have questioned if Microsoft is even working on the rumored gadget at all.

As for the speculated features of the Microsoft Surface Phone, MobiPicker has reported that there will be three variants of the Surface Phone.

The first and cheapest will have 3 GB RAM matched with 32 GB internal storage; the second mid-range variant will have 6 GB RAM matched with 128 GB internal storage; while the most expensive model will have an impressive 8 GB RAM matched with 500 GB internal storage. The same report claimed that the high-end device could also possibly be installed with an Intel Atom X3 chipset, while the others will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 830.

There are also no confirmed news regarding the release of the Microsoft Surface Phone, but the mobile device is definitely not expected to arrive within the year. The earliest date that users are expecting to see the gadget in the market is the first quarter of 2017. If this is confirmed, the best possible venue for such would be the Mobile World Congress scheduled on Feb. 27, 2017. Source : mnrdaily
