#SurfaceBook #Yoga910 – Lenovo Yoga 910, HP Spectre X360 out to challenge Microsoft Surface Book : Interest in 2-in-1 laptops is gaining ground. The world has Microsoft to thank for following the emergence of its Surface Book and Pro product lines.
In line with this, it is inevitable that tech competitors will be unveiling their respective handy computers down the road. Judging that the Windows 10 format is conducive enough to run those types of machines, the competition for the best laptop is on.
With the presence of the sixth generation Core i5 and Core i7 processors, it is without doubt that Microsoft’s items are, by far, the most powerful units. Add to that the integration of the Nvidia GTX 965M graphics accessory and the entire gaming experience has never been this efficient.
In addition, the 13.5-inch Surface Book provides a 3000×2000-pixel resolution. Aside from its 8GB and 16GB RAM capability, the laptop presents models with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB SSD storages.
For a lightweight machine, the battery is effective enough to sustain power up to 16 hours. Moreover, the stylus supported-device provides a detachable base which easily transforms it into a tablet.
In contrast, the Spectre X360 surfaces with a seventh generation Core i5 and i7 processing units. HP has come up with a 13 and 15-inch screens that portray a 4K-capable 3840×2160 resolutions.
Aside from the 8GB and 16GB RAM models, it has also added a 4GB variant. Hewlett-Packard’s item reveals a graphic processor that is equipped with Intel HD graphics 620.
Compared to the Surface Book, the display cannot be detached but the frame is foldable enough to become a tablet. Battery power can be utilized up to 12 hours of video playback.
Meanwhile, the Lenovo Yoga 910 offers a highly-efficient 2-in-1 Windows set-up. The processor is fired up by a seventh generation Intel Core i7 which runs up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. SSD storage hits a maximum of 1TB of memory.
Just like the Spectre, Lenovo’s 13.9-inch screen provides a 4K or 1080p resolution. The laptop’s all the way back-bendability allows it to assume a tablet stance. In addition to JBL stereo speakers, the Yoga 910 is also equipped with a backlight keyboard. Battery life extends up to nine hours.
Overall, both HP and Lenovo have identical features on their products. That makes the Surface Book unique in a certain way. If it’s about efficiency plus a detachable frame, the Microsoft device may have the edge. (HNGN)
