HTC 10 to recieve Android 7.0 Nougat update next month : Since years, HTC has always been maintained transparency about the Android updates on its smartphones. But yet, HTC has not given any clear-cut answer regarding the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat on its HTC 10 smartphone. There have been a lot of rumours and buzzes about the release date of Android 7.0 Nougat on HTC 10. Though Google has already confirmed smartphone like HTC 10, HTC One A9 and HTC One M9 to get updates for 7.0 Nougat soon, but has not published any timeline yet.
But now, the popular online leakers – LlabTooFeR citing company insider has revealed that the rollout of Android Nougat for HTC 10 will be commenced by the end of November or early December. The leak also suggests the phone with new updates will be exclusive to Europe in the initial days and then will arrive in other global market regions.
If we consider the past records of LlabTooFeR, then it has solid track record associated with HTC leaks and this time, the reports provided by the insider seems to be the strongest statement because of its origin from a reliable source. LlabTooFeR, on its Twitter account, said that the European variant of the HTC 10 is going to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update by the end of November, or early December, while its reach in other nations is still unexplained.
Apart from LlabTooFeR, the U.S. transporter T-Mobile also has confirmed HTC 10 and the HTC One M9 to get updates for Android 7.0 Nougat soon but lacks the detailed timeframe for the upgrade.
HTC last month confirmed about the rollout of Android Nougat to three of its popular smartphones like HTC 10, HTC One A9, and HTC One M9 via Twitter. But surprisingly, the update procedure is still in the pipeline and none of the above-mentioned phones have yet got Nougat update.
Among other features, HTC 10 packs a 5.2 Quad HD dual-curved display, Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor, a massive 3,000mAh battery, 12-megapixel primary and 5-mp secondary camera, 32/64 GB, 4 GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, and USB-Type C. Source : tecake.in
