#GalaxyS6 #GalaxyS6Edge – Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge with Firmware Development Updates : Everybody knows that Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are going to receive the new Android Nougat OS update, but what we didn’t know is that Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are also going to receive the new Nougat OS update. Samsung has yet to confirm this information but there are reports that show that Android Nougat for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is in the development phase right now, meaning that’s it’s going to be rolled out soon enough.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Android Nougat
The build number for the Android Nougat firmware designed especially for the Galaxy S6 line of devices is XXS5DPK7. This number is going to change before the software gets rolled out. Since the software is already in the development phase, we can expect the Nougat OS to be rolled out during the coming months. Samsung is not likely going to hurry up and release the new update since they want the software to run perfectly and requires a lot of developing and testing. What we can know for sure is that the new OS is not going to be rolled out before 2016 ends, because Samsung’s flagship devices Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are not receiving the update until the year ends as well.
Android Nougat Features for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge
The most expected feature is Android Nougat’s multi window mode, a feature that’s going to make multi tasking way easier, because the device is now going to be able to run two different apps at the same time. Tech experts are still speculating if Samsung is going to bring over their Grace UX to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge as well. Most tech experts are leaning towards yes, since Samsung is trying to keep all of their flagship devices running on the same platform.
