#iPhone #Apple – iPhone 2017 Comes in Three Models : The KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has never made a bad prediction. The analyst is specialized in Apple products, and he always manages to deduct whenever Apple is going to release a new product. He correctly predicted the launch of Apple’s iPhone 6S, iPhone SE and is unveiling future iPhone changes.
Apple has recently confirmed that they are killing off the iPhone SE 2017 model. New reports from Ming-Chi Kuo are pointing out the fact that this is the first step Apple is taking in changing up their iPhone range. The analyst said that 2017 iPhones are expected to come in three different models. The first model is going to be an OLED model, TFT-LCD 5.5 inch and the last version of iPhone will be the 4.7 inch variant. Both the OLED and TFT-LCD smartphones are going to feature dual cameras, the same way Apple has implemented them for the iPhone 7 Plus model.
If the analyst is right and Apple will introduce OLED displays to their iPhones, this means that the smartphones will become considerably lighter and thinner. All of this is possible because the OLED display does not require black light the same way IPS LCD panels do. The contrast ratio is going to improve as well. This seems to be a step in the right direction for Apple, since their competition is already using OLED.
On the other hand, the addition of new iPhone devices means that the more affordable ones such as the 4.7 inch variant are going to disappear. Apple is known for making their devices really expensive, and a new iPhone 8 with new OLED technology will really reach new heights. The same thing happened with the release of iPhone 7, before the iPhone 7 was launched you could get the best one for $650, and now for the same price you can only get the basic iPhone 7.
