According to the latest reports, the South Korean tech giant might announce the flagship smartphone in April, which is not what fans expected as previous rumors suggest that the Galaxy S8 will be launched at the Mobile World Congress in late February.

Furthermore, speculations are rife that the next iteration of Samsung’s flagship line will carry a 3D Touch feature. Following the disappointment release of Samsung Galaxy Note 7, tech fans have shifted their focus on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

However, the company has continued to stay mum about the development and release of its new high end smartphone releases. It was previously reported that the two devices will carry the model numbers SM-G94 and SM-G950, but tech experts believe that the company will focus on the development of the latter, which represents the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Despite the lack of official details with regard to its development, several reports have revealed that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 will arrive in two variants – one with a 5.7-inch screen and the other one will sport a larger 6.2-inch display.

The high-end version of the flagship smartphone is also expected to carry a bezel-less design, which suggests that the device will not be sporting the home button. Other features of the much awaited handset include the 3D Touch, which were made popular by the Apple’s iPhone 6s and the current iPhone 7.

Meanwhile, according to Game N Guide, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might be launched during the Mobile World Congress in February. However, there are speculations suggesting that it may arrive in January during CES 2017.

Tech experts suggest that the device is expected to run on Samsung’s Exynos 8895 chipset paired with 6 GB of RAM. It will also have full 4K support, which is pretty amazing considering the disappointment of the previous iteration.
