WhatsApp video calling is now available for all users

#WhatsApp #AppWhatsApp 2.16.288 Update Download Available for Windows Phone : WhatsApp is a cross-platform encrypted instant messaging client for smartphones. The application is using the internet to send documents, GIF images, videos, text messages, audio messages and your location to other users.

In order to create an account on WhatsApp, you will need a smartphone and a mobile phone number. Once you install the application on your mobile device, you will need to get yourself verified. It is good to know that the WhatsApp account is not a simple username or email address, as you’ve used in other applications. Instead, the username or ID is actually the mobile phone number that you’ve been verified with.

You should know that the WhatsApp application is currently owned by Facebook, which has purchased it back in February 2014 for $19.3 billion. Since that date, we’ve noticed a good amount of changes on the WhatsApp application, some of them being received well by the users, but there were a bunch of new features that got quite criticized.

WhatsApp 2.16.288 Brings Video Calling Support

The long-time rumored Video Calling feature is finally here and it can be used once you install the latest WhatsApp version on your mobile device. When the installation is complete, you will be able to make Video Calls on WhatsApp with whoever has the latest version of WhatsApp installed on their smartphones.

To make a Video Call on WhatsApp is easy, as you will just need to open the chat with a friend on WhatsApp and tap on the “Call” button that’s located on the top side of the window. Once you tap the “Call” button, you will notice two options: “Voice Call” and “Video Call”.

Of course, you will select “Video Call” button and if the other person has the latest WhatsApp version installed on his/her smartphone, you will be able to view him/her in real time (once (s)he answers). You can now install the latest WhatsApp STABLE version directly from the Windows Store. Source: neurogadget
