#GalaxyJ3 #GalaxyJ2Prime – Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 vs Galaxy J2 Prime – Winning with their similarities : Samsung is known for launching high end smartphones that can be pretty expensive, but Samsung also releases smartphones focused towards mid-range budgets by making affordable devices. Right now we are going to take a look at Samsung’s Galaxy J3 2016 and Galaxy J2 Prime.
In the display department the Galaxy J2 Prime presents itself with a 5 inch capacitive touch screen display that comes with a resolution of 540×960 pixels resulting in a 220 pixel density, the device also has a 66 percent screen to body ratio. On the other hand the Galaxy J3 has a 5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and a pixel density of 294, the screen to body ratio being 68 percent.
Both devices operate on Android OS, the difference being the versions of Android OS they are using. The Galaxy J3 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lolipop OS while the Galaxy J2 Prime runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, which is much more advanced and the user experience is greatly improved.
Let’s take a look under the hood of these devices and see what we can find. We are going to start it off with the Galaxy J2 Prim, being powered by a Quad core 1.4GHz Cortex-A53 Mediatek M76737T chipset paired with a MALI-T720MP2 graphics card, and it also comes equipped with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage space. The Galaxy J3 ships with a Quad Core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A7 and a Mali-400 GPU.
The smartphone is equipped with 1.5GB of RAM and comes in two 16/32GB storage variants. Both devices can have their memory expanded up to 256GB using the microSD card slot.
The camera quality is the same for both devices, having a front 8MP camera and a 5MP secondary camera. The battery life is the same as well, both using a removable Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery.
