#Windows10 #WindowsRedstone2No New Windows 10 Redstone 2 Builds Launching This Week : This time, however, it’s a no build week, as Microsoft announced that the Windows team is taking some days off in order to celebrate Thanksgiving, so the usual pre- and post-release work that includes collecting feedback and fixing critical bugs cannot be done.

“Please note that we will not be releasing any new builds next week. Next week is the Thanksgiving holiday here in the U.S. and much of the team is taking some well-deserved time off to celebrate the holiday with their families,” Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider program, said last week.

The most recent build that’s available to insiders is 14971 for PCs, while Windows 10 Mobile have been left a little behind, as they are still on 14965. No build for Windows 10 Mobile phones was released last week, and although users expected 14971 to ship to their smartphones shortly after that, it looks like more work needs to be done before this happens.

“Windows 10 Creators Update”

All these builds are previews of the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update and according to information leaked in the last couple of months, everyone should get the final bits in March 2017.

Microsoft is expected to release Windows 10 Creators Update as version 1703, and as per the company’s version numbering, these numbers indicate that the launch takes place in the third month of 2017.

Microsoft itself confirmed that Windows 10 Creators Update (also known as Redstone 2) is due in early 2017, but the company hasn’t yet announced the final release date, so these preview builds are obviously playing a key role for both the firm and its users.

The next builds are now expected towards the end of next week, so you can continue testing 14971 on your PCs for a little longer and send feedback to the company. Source: softpedia
