#iPhone8 #iPhone – Apple iPhone 8 Rumors: 10th Anniversary Edition Leaked? : Rumors about the much anticipated Apple iPhone 8 revealed that the company might overhaul the design for its 10th anniversary. Get to know that latest buzz here.
Those who were there since the release of the very first Apple smartphone should recall that the company will be celebrating its 10th year in 2017. Thus far, the company that made Steve Jobs famous could be brewing a new model next to the iPhone 7 models.
According to claims, the Apple iPhone 8 could have two variants: the 5 inch and the 5.8 inch. Gamenguide reported further that Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the leading KGI Securities analysts, hinted that the company is brewing a major update.
First, it is possible that Apple will incorporate the Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature for their Telephoto Compact Camera module (CCM). The variants could also have dual-lens cameras.
The smaller model might carry a single-lens camera with the OIS feature, which could sport Augmented Reality (AR). More than that, Apple might be releasing an SDK, so they may create AR-compatible apps for the upcoming models.
Meanwhile, sources also claimed that the OLED for Apple iPhone 8 models could cause a major problem. Sharp, one of Apple’s suppliers, stated on Nikkei (via Indian Express) the possible problem about the matter.
The Cupertino-based firm might take it as a challenge because the suppliers may not be able to produce enough components for the demand. The four major suppliers of OLED panels include Samsung Display Co., LG Display Co., Sharp Corp. and Japan Display Inc.
Dan Panzica, a supply chain analyst at IHS Markit, stated that it could be a difficult challenge indeed. “The combination of Apple’s stringent quality requirements and the difficulty of producing OLED panels will likely lead to supply constraints,” we quote.
The company is yet to confirm the speculations, so better check ANN for more updates about the Apple iPhone 8. Meanwhile, you can watch the trailer below or read related news here and here. Source: australianetworknews
