#Google #Nexus7 – Google Nexus 7 2016 Release Date Delayed : Back in 2013 Google teamed up with Asus in order to produce the highly successful Google tablet, the Nexus 7. The device did very well on the market, Google fans loved the tablet and for that reason Google is expected to launch a new Nexus tablet in 2016, but it seems the production has been delayed.
The last company Google collaborated with was HTC, and the two companies united their tech departments and created the successful Pixel devices. Because of that tech experts were expecting Google to partner up with HTC again in order to create the highly expected Nexus 7 (2016) tablet.
Recent reports show that Google has chosen Huawei instead of HTC, but the production of the tablet has been halted because the two companies didn’t see eye to eye. The company disagreed because Google wanted the tablet to only wear the Google brand, and not the Huawei one and since Huawei is trying to make a name for them on the tech market, they refused to produce the tablets if their brand name won’t be engraved on the device.
Because Huawei didn’t agree to Google’s terms, the tablet might not see an appearance in 2016. We can expect Google to get another partner, or maybe produce the tablet themselves and unveil it during the first quarter of 2017.
Rumor has it that the new tablet will include the not yet released Snapdragon 835 processor. If this proves to be true it means that the tablet will have around 27% better performance than it would have had with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The processor will be accompanied by the latest Adreno 620 graphical card. What has fans hyped up about the tablet is the fact that it’s going to run on Google’s Andromeda OS. The Andromeda OS is a combination of both Android and Chrome OS and it’s designed especially for laptops.
