#BMW #Car – BMW Gives The 5 Series M Performance: How Will It Compare To Its Predecessors : A couple of months ago, BMW released their newest rendition of the 5 Series. The 5 Series promises to be comfortable while still being fairly quick. This version comes in four engine variants and is available in both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive variants with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Now, BMW decides to spice things up by adding M performance options to the car.
Added Boost On Select Models
The 540i variant have an available option to get an additional 33-horse power and 36 pound-feet to get a total of 365horse power and 368 pound-feet of torque. An M Performance silencer can also be added to the 540i and the two variants of the 530d models. All versions have options to get bigger brakes that feature aluminum four-piston calipers in the front and single piston calipers at the back.
Red paint finish is still used and the stopping power is provided by the inner ventilated, perforated lightweight disc brakes. The diesel variant, 530d, and all 530d xDrive models, gets an additional 26horse power and 22 pound-feet of torque, a total of 215horse power and 479 pound-feet of torque.
Carbon fiber is used on the front bumper, diffuser, and the rear spoiler. Both the spoiler and diffuser can be made from polyurethane, your choice. The famous BMW kidney grille is now in black and the side mirror flaps are also in carbon fiber finish. In addition to the exterior, a black side sill that can be ordered with a carbon fiber look is added for that distinguishing M performance look.
