A few months ago, rumors seemed to have been certain that the Surface Phone will be powered by Intel’s Kaby Lake processor. However, recent news from Phone Arena suggests that the next Microsoft phone could be using a more appropriate smartphone processor which is a Snapdragon processor, at least according to alleged prototypes.
Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that this Snapdragon chipset won’t be a low-end or last-season chipset as it will be Qualcomm’s new and uber-powerful processor Snapdragon 835.

On top of that, the Surface Phone could also sport a big RAM size worth 6 GB and a bright and vivid display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution.
With a rumored screen size of 5.5 inch, the Surface Phone is pretty much anticipated to be a good mini-PC especially since it is also expected to support Continuum.
With that, Surface accessories are also expected to be made compatible with this Windows Phone. There could also be up to three Surface Phone variants coming up.
